 In the elementary library our main goals are to promote  research skills, and the love of reading. 

On scheduled weeks we spend 50 minutes with K-6th grade classes teaching them how to use the  library, and giving them time to look for books that they  will enjoy reading. We discuss such topics as:                     

              What is the difference between fiction and  
              non-fiction books?  
              Where can you find it in the library?  
              What do we mean by digital citizenship?

  It is the hope of the Elementary Library staff to see each student succeed in improving their reading skills, and continue to enjoy the world of  books!
