ABOUT ME...

I have been a REDBIRD fan for a very long time!  Having graduated from East Carter in the early 80's, I feel like this is my second home.  I have worked in the the district since 2001, and have worked in both the Elementary and High School Libraries. I have also taught 7th Grade English for three years and Computer Coding for four years.  In 2014 I finished my masters degree in Library Science and Technology Services, and I am excited to see where the future of libraries are heading. I have a huge passion for books, and my favorite lesson is when I get to share a new picture book with students. If there is any way that I can help you with finding library material, or doing some research, please let me know!  I am  always ready to help!
